Raising the RI Reds

These are my RI Reds from 5 days old to 8 weeks. Here in KY we are having a late spring with cold nights down to 23, chicks handled it very well with only one heat lamp with a couple of hanging clip on lamps w/ 100w bulbs.

Where I am it is 23 all day and cute chickens Road island reds I thought I had one for 7 weeks but the tsc people got the breeds mixed up

I love my red girls, Scarlet and Ruby. Top of the pecking order but not mean. Ruby loves to have her wattles scratched.
