Well, to weigh heavy birds alive, I stand on the scale, then I pick up the bird and stand on the scale again. Take the difference and got the weight!

I use the supermarket method. take a look at the different sizes in their freezer and estimate. Its a lot safer for both me and the birds.

I must buy a scale. That's pretty scary, I'm not sure I want to know how much I weigh
