Ralph laid her first egg yesterday!

My polish hen laid her first egg yesterday. I was cleaning the chicken house and low and behold up under the nesting boxed she had made a hole and laid a little white egg. I couldn't believe how small it was. I am so used to the buff orpington eggs and the wellsummer eggs. Now, this little white egg from the polish mama. I just thought I would share.

beautiful girl. We have a pair named don and king. Fairly certain that king is a hen. And thought don was a dawn now we're not so sure.
