Like others, I acquired some bantams from the assorted bin at TSC. I've been able to identify the breeds of most, but 2 are troubling. I will start with asking for help on one, with a developed comb.

What I do know:
1. Purchased from TSC in assorted bantam pullet bin on March 15th, making it approximately 2 weeks old today. Included photo.

2. Clean, dark legs. But a partly white middle toe on each foot.

3. Doesn't appear to have a special stance. Included photo next to my bantam polish.

4. Is a bossy little bugger.

5. Comb comes to a point at the back. Front portion sort of reminds me of a callus, it isn't exactly flat and smooth.

Blue Rosecomb cockerel.

There’s a chance it could turn out to be a blue Wyandotte...they are supposed to have yellow legs but some blue Wyandottes don’t. The only way to know for sure is whether or not it gets white earlobes like rosecombs do.

If it actually turns out to be a hen then it should lay white eggs if Rosecomb and brown if Wyandotte.

Speaking of which, do you happen to know which hatchery sourced your TSC? This might help narrow down breed possibilities. :D

I just called to ask about hatcheries. She listed off like 5 different places. She said it varies each week, though most shipments have been from Privet and Hoover.

If it makes any difference, I'm in Missouri. Looking at photos, I'm leaning towards blue rosecomb bantam, and a cockerel. I didn't want more roosters, but I'm totally okay with him. He can protect the 7 other various bantams in his flock.
