Random bullying- illness??

Hello,

We have three pekins that were all born around the same time. Up until about two days or so they were extremely close- constantly slept, ate, bathed, etc together. A couple of days ago two of them started to really bully the third. He doesn't sleep next to them anymore, isn't allowed to walk close, bathe or anything with them. This seemed very random and seemed to start out of no where.

My concern would be that perhaps he is sick and they are trying to keep him away? The isolated one shows no real signs of illness, very healthy looking still but I just worried. Could it simply be that they just don't want him around?

The three of them were born together as I said and have always had a very loose pecking order so to speak and are currently abour 7-8mos old.

Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

You may want to watch the odd one out closely. It could also be a social dynamic, and you need to keep all of them safe and healthy. Think about separating temporarily to shake up the dynamics and see if things will settle down with reintroductions.
