If no rooster is present, the dominant hen will sometimes start crowin and actin "roo-ish."
 
A brown egg is really nothing more than a white eggshell with brown pigment. Go test it...the inside of a brown egg is white. Same thing for green eggs. They are really nothing more than a blue eggshell with brown pigment causing it to appear green to us. The inside of a green egg is bluish.

Most of the original constellations, first drawn and named by the ancient Sumerians sometime around 2000 BC, were named after chickens.
 
Breeds, or did they just want to commemorate their pets after a nice chicken dinner?
