We have one barn cat. He's been great for keeping the mice down. He's actually little afraid of the chickens. I think because they're so curious about him and in his face all the time. lol He watches them from afar but tries to avoid making contact with them. We even had a chick with a broody in the barn last year, and he didn't bother it either.

My dogs kill my chickens if given the chance, but they are hunting dogs. lol

Our LDG puppy killed two hens last fall. Puppy play. Will try training him with them again this summer when he's a bit more mature.

Eeeww our dog kept doing that and then would get the clay litter stuck in his throat, cough & eventually throw up. It was disgusting! We finally put a gate up at the bottom of the stairs so he can't get upstairs....Oh, and so he can't eat our underwear anymore either.
