Random Motors around the house

I have an old air brush compressor that one would use for make up. So the motor that runs that compressor....... what all could you use it for?
I am trying to see what I have at home I can use as my egg turner motor.
I also have an old remote controlled motorized jeep from one of my boys!!!
But I have NO idea about motors and how they work or what you can do with them. So I figured someone here would. Lots of DIY people.

Any Ideas??
