The chicken's right eye is focused on the camera while the left eye is already scanning what's going on above your head. Another interesting note is how the left eye appears more round as the muscles of the eye change focus. The right eye is tightly focused and firmly in the eye socket.
Supposedly the mighty chicken brain has the ability to interpret data from each eye. He/she can see two different pictures and make sense of it. They have the ability to interpret what's on the ground and what is in the sky at the same time.
