Cleaned off the pictures from my phone, got some cute pictures! And of course they have stories!
Sitting in the little coop run, introduced them to the silver kitchen scrap bowl. Let them try the strawberry tops and a couple of lettuce leaves and they finally discovered the mealworms I've been tossing to them and they ignored! The silver Wynndotte in my hands was eating mealworms out of my hands. The Buffs at my feet were trying to figure out what to do with the lettuce.

New waterer installed in the big girl coop! And they figured out how to use it! The pipe holds 3 gallons of water, right now we have to fill the waterer up with the hose. Hopefully soon we will have the gutter installed on both coops and the garden shed and the rainbarrells set up to fill the chicken waterers....one step at a time, but we're getting there!
The big girls got the melon scraps, watermelon,cantaloupe,and honeydew...they particularly love the mushy seed scraps from the middle of the cantaloupe and honeydew. Sshhhh don't tell them that the little girls got the strawberry tops! lol
Broody on a hot tin roof! Poor girl, the leghorns chased chased her away from the melon scraps and she took refuge on the the roof over their feeder! I felt sorry for her and took her a couple of melon rinds, she ate them from my hand.
