So my year old hens, are having these red sore all over and at random places. I’ve checked them for lice and kites but didn’t see any, and they have never molted like this before. These are just three of my hens either they are baldish, have red bums or something else. Also they do go outside their run da
ily. Please help!

There is some feather picking going on. What breeds do you have, and how large is your coop and run? The more you can tell us the better. What do you feed them and do they get outside to free range. I would get some Pine tar from TSC or a feed store and put some on the bare areas. If there are bloody, you may want to sepearate a few, put Neosporin on for a couple of days, then apply the pine tar.

The two breeds I have is black sex linked and ISA brown. The coop size is 8x4 and the run is 8x8. I feed them dumor pellets, and they get let out as soon as I get home for hours then on the weekend they spend most of their time out.

I would watch them some this weekend and try to see who is doing the pecking. When they go to roost in the evening can be a time when pecking occurs. Flock Raiser or an all flock 20% protein feed is very good to give a little more protein. A container with crushed oyster shell will provide the extra calcium the layers need.

How many hens do you have all together?
Do you have rooster with them?
Can you post some photos of the legs and bottom of the feet too? In your one photo, it's hard to tell if that's just debris on the foot or bumblefoot.

I have 8 hens and no roosters and there is no bumblefoot it’s just a bit of mud. I Check for that often. But for sure can send one in the morning

I would bring them each in for a warm bath and a blow dry. Then put vasaline, vitamin E oil, or skin cream from your local farm store over all the effected areas. If it were me I would start with the open wound and rinse it well then wrap it after she is dry. Increase vitamin intake in water and food. Try nutridrench or apple cider vinager in water and either more fresh nutrient dense veggies or vitamin dense food additives from farm store to food. Then watch them very closely.
