How high?

At my other apartment I had to have all the house plants on top of the kitchen cupboards. At this house most of the kitchen cupboards are attached to the ceiling (???) So I settled for little shelves on the wall where it's too high for him to jump.

I love kitties! @catloverlu and I have a big fat orange cat named Champ. He basically thinks he's a little tiny person! He doesn't want to go through his cat door, he wants the big door opened. He wants to sleep on my bed at night, because he thinks it's his. He's not allowed to, though, because he likes to wake up at three and demand to be let out. Last night, I let him sleep up there, because my brother saw coyotes aceoss the road. I didn't get much sleep, because he has this weird habit of sleeping on my head. Also, he smelled like skunk.

I don't mind cats. but I'm not going out of my way to have one as a pet. Oldest son has 2. We've discovered that everyone else in the fam but me is allergic to them. So, we're not cat people I guess...
