(rant)do people really not read the whole thing or are they just

*lol* I also get ones all the time that ask where I am. I have my community listed in my ads, yet it's inevitable that someone will ask; "Where are you?", or "Where is that?"

Ummmmm....let me acquaint you with Google Maps......

I also loved the one where I listed some chicks for sale for $10 for a group of them. Someone wrote and told me: "I'd like to get them but don't get paid until Friday. Will you deliver as my car is broke."

Ummmm....Nope, not delivering to someone who can't afford to pay $10 for some chicks.

"I don't have a car, would mind bringing that OEGB Silver duck wing bantam by my place so I can see if I want him?"

WHAT? I cant imagine someone having the gall to ask you that!

I think that we should start taking statistical info on these buyers. Maybe we could pinpoint where the stupidity comes from....

Something like this....you have been accepted to participate in a study on stupidity. We will need the following information....

Can I borrow that?

Go right ahead! I kid you not, this just happened last night. The guy is supposed to come by my place this evening...... I wonder if he'll make it?

I have some reservations on this one though....he asked how to get the bird home. He didn't know that you place them in a box.....hmmmmmm.....got a bit of a red flag with this one.....

Or on the other side, sellers post a ad, under contact numbers, they post "please email".
They don't return any emails, then they repost the same ad when it expires.

Well, I've got a weird one, too. I had a very nice couple come over one evening. We had some tea and talked chicken for a couple of hours. They purchased a pair of OEBG from me and asked me to hold them for a couple of weeks until they could finish their coop. The 2 weeks passd and I called them, emailed them and got no response. This went on for 2 months and I FINALLY got a return email that said that they had "bought" the birds just because I was nice to them and that they just wanted me to have the money. Wow!
