Rant...Octuplets!!!

I was touched to read the story of the woman who gave birth to the set of octuplets...only the second time in history that all 8 survived a birth, BUT NOW...

She is young and has SIX other children!!! Lives with her parents and is unmarried. What kind of crazy, screwed up system do we have that would provide fertility drugs to a woman that already has six children? What Doctor would prescribe the drugs?

Now there are 14 children in a home with no obvious means of support that will be the taxpayers burden, not only for the birth but also for their upbringing. Freakin' Unbelievable...

You know, I wasn't going to respond to this, but we truley do not know the whole story here...
How do we know that it's not her own home and she's taking care of her poor parents or sick parents or parents who had their home foreclosed upon in this economy? We don't. Just because it says that she lives with her parents does not nessesarily mean in their home is all I'm saying...

And I didn't read in that news story that the mother didn't have a job... Maybe I overlooked it, I will go back and re-read.

I am 24 and have 3 kids, my oldest is 8 and we're currently trying for another.... What's wrong with being a young mother?

Very true. I should calm down because you cannot trust the media. I'll let the story come out before I open my mouth...... again.
