I'm so sorry you had to see those poor animals today in that condition.

But as someone else said..it may have happend for a reason! maybe the phone call you make will save some of those birds a miserable existance.

Another example of people getting away with some horrible deed because no one else cared! Poor things, made me sick reading it. . .here I set with three dogs sounds asleep at my feet, (well, Oreo is asleep, but he is passing gas like a mule) and my Alpacas are all snug and fat and happy . . .and then idiot thinks they know what they are doing with their poor animals. . .make the call. You were lead there for a reason, because if they advertised and did business with other people and THEY didn't call, then it was God leading you there to do what other people should have!!!

I'm very sorry that you had to witness this and certainly that there was anything to witness. This makes me so mad / sad / disgusted.
From what I understand animal hoarders are hard to deal with b/c they are blind to the neglect, although in this case they may just not care. I am very much hoping that something can be done. Good luck.

This is so disgustingly sad, people like that make me want to vomit!! I pray that you make that call and they are shut down and never allowed to keep any animal ever again................

Tomorrow I go to collect 40 rescued ex battery hens (I already have 40) and in November another 40 ....I know that the life they have ived so far will be over and that they will live the rest of their lives with me happy, well fed and running around wild and free as a bird should be.

Sorry you had that happen! Poor birds.
Ill take the emu if someone will quarantine it for me....and ship it. It would have a great home here! Its hard to get the rescues to do something about livestock. People just don't think the same way about it. (Except us.) You never hear about them confiscating anyone's cattle or pigs or goats or sheep or chickens...mostly what this society is worried about is cute pets..cats, dogs, even horses.......
I hope they get these though!!
