Why would you need a candling license? For selling eggs? I’ve never heard of that before.

Eggs. In Georgia, everyone who wants to sell eggs has to comply with the Georgia Egg Law and must have an egg candling certificate. The exception is for farmers selling eggs directly on their farm. The egg candling certificate is free but the farmer must successfully complete and Egg Candling Class.

Ohhhhh okay. It must just be Georgia then? Or maybe a few other states? Cause I have never heard of that before here. Although it seems like even in Georgia if you’re just selling on your farm and not somewhere else you don’t need one ?
