Rare breed assortment

Went in for BCM and they only had what I hope is one. Two chick min, so I had to get another of course Lavender Orpington?

The first one does look like a BCM. I’m not sure that the second is a lavender orp. It looks too light compared to the lavender orp chicks I’ve seen

First one likely BCM or other Marans.
Second one also not sure is lav orp, as feet should be pink. Cute chicks!

So far google shows dark legs with orange toesies, but hatchery quality is obviously not awesome. I’d rather take sn experts opinion over the hatcheries

Even hatchery quality orps should have white skin.

Post updated pics once that second one feathers out. Those feet could turn.

We have WJG, this one’s wing feathers are definitely not white. If it is, we love ours and they’re such great birds!
