I am looking for anyone in central Minnesota that would like to hatch some potentially interesting mixes. I don't want to ship, so it would have to be someone local. I just added hens to my flock that have been exposed to roosters, and I expect I should be getting possible fertile eggs for the next 2 weeks? The hens are of a variety and one kind (Dorking) is listed on the endangered list and another two (Russian Orloff) on the threatened list. The other types of hens are Brahmas and Cochins. All very beautiful and friendly hens. I'm not sure what type of roosters they have been with. I have nine that are laying. Please let me know if you are interested asap- I don't want to hatch them myself but also don't want to see them "go to waste"!:)

Did you find someone? I hope you did!
No takers. Unfortunately. I just wasn't up for incubating them myself (mostly because I don't have any more room for roosters who I keep in a separate area!). They would have been an interesting and lovely mix. I sure am enjoying the ladies I added and thankfully my other two originals are finally being nicer to the newbies. Have a great day!
