Well, I for one, don't think Silver Laced Wyandottes are rare, and have my doubts, due to the person's other posts that these are pure eggs. I haven't traded on this chain yet because I was waiting for my girls to be laying better, they are just getting there, and I was hoping to start participating now. If others feel differently, that is fine. This is just my opinion. What does the everyone think?

Okay, let's get back on track.

Birds need to be separated at least 3 weeks to be considered pure after running in the lot. Personally, I wait 6 weeks just to be extra sure.

Additionally, this is a purebred rare breeds chain. I'm sorry but Silver Laced Wyandottes do not fall into the rare category. In order to keep the chain running as intended, we must stay within the guidelines previously posted. Please, go back and read the first post of the chain again.

Chickenlove2009, if you have a rare breed that meets the above said requirements please post. Otherwise, the Delawares are back on the table.

Personally, I think a GOOD silver-laced Wyandotte in itself is rare. It's hard to find them without paying a large price...but that's just me. A production bred Wyandotte isn't, in my book, a rare breed.

This is the current offer.

The intention of this chain is to have fun and find rare breeders. I feel a big part of the BYC spirit is to educate and assist other members with their poultry. I do not want anyone to feel hurt by comments made here. Constructive suggestions would be the best way to bring everyone closer. If the comments continue, our swap could be locked. Additionally, bickering will run off potential swappers.

There is a swap for everyone here. Just look around the Buy/Sell/Trade section and someone is always willing to trade. You just have to find a niche.

Bygones are bygones. Now, let's get back to fun stuff...

I will offer 6 Black Tailed White Japs.
I am trying to find out what lines they are from.

Hi, after staff discussion, the decision has been made to put swaps in this forum.

Since swaps are a social event, we feel it will help keep the Buy Sell Trade areas uncluttered.

Thanks.

Well, this new move will take a little to get use to. But it is probably a good thing. Does this mean we can chatter as we wait for the offer eggs to be snatched away?

Let's get swapping.....................
