They are great layers, out of 8 hens I get 5-6 eggs a day. average, very friendly too. also a good winter bird for laying.

I can offer copper black Marans. I'm a newbie, and only just started hatching out my first generation of chicks from these birds. I've culled aggressively, and kept only the best 1/3 of the birds I got last year in the Marans pen, but I just want to be open about the fact that I have never bred these chickens before. Here are the eggs.

Paula does a great job packing her eggs and those langshan eggs are awesome!!!! Mine are about half way through incubation and doing great!
