Holderread indicated that they did not know of anyone else that there was no plans at this time for someone else to take over breed maintanence for the Golden Cascade which is a shame. I know that others sold this breed when Holderread stopped selling them for a while but the breed genetics got all messed up. When Holderread decided to once again start offering this breed to their customers they spent 5 years or so getting the genetics back to the breed's standard norm. Since this is a hybrid duck and not a true breed, unless someone plans on taking over the responsibility to maintain this breed's genetics, I fear the the GC breed may very well "go the way of the dodo."
