Rare new "coop chickens" Please help identify breed...

I'm glad we never see them here, though the grackles can be obnoxious.

I believe the compelte name is the European Starling...definaltey not poultry of any type. LOL Get them out of there!!!

Definitely starling -- rats with wings. Your cats will have a fine time.

Starlings have very different coloration in the winter than they do in the spring and summer. The spots are their winter colors.
And I have to admit, I like them.

I opened up the "big" coop door and they flew off. The wind is sooo horrendous now I just locked down the whole coop for the night. They can't get back in. I decided the cats would freak out the chickens to much so I didn't put them in there - the coop is only 8 X 5 or so - no place for the chickens to get awa from the cats.
