Rare Quail~PLEASE LOOK AT PAGE 2 FOR IDEAS!!~

University researchers and game bird breeders have developed special strains and quail breeds for meat production, egg production, and hunting. The numerous bobwhite quail mutations or breeds include the Tennessee Red Bobwhite (especially favored for hunting on shooting preserves), Tuxedo bobwhite, Silver bobwhite, White bobwhite, and Blonde bobwhite quail.

THERE IS NO TUXEDO BOBWHITE, IT IS A HYBRID NOT A PURE BIRD!!!! There are no types of bobwhites they are color MUTATIONS and the jumbos are selectively bred Northerns that posses traits like longer feathers and bigger builds. The reason hunters prefer TN Red Bobwhites is because they are small and really flighty giving them an unpredictable flight pattern to train their dogs with and give them a little fun. The Northerns have a spray pattern that dogs can get use to.

THOSE STRAINS ARE GENETIC MUTATIONS THAT OCCUR NATURALLY. THEY WERE CAPITALIZED UPON BY PROS.. THE GENETICS ISOLATED AND FOCUS ON BREEDING TO REPRODUCE SPECIFIC TRAITS. PROS( AS IN SPECIALLY TRAINED AND STRICTLY CONTROLLED SCIENTISTS) DOES NOT EQUAL A HALF CRAZED YOUNG GIRL IN HER BACKYARD PLAYING MAD SCIENTIST WITH NO CLUE OR REALIZATION OF THE RAMIFICATIONS OF HER ACTIONS
