Rare Ringneck Dove Colours and Patterns

I came across an interesting discussion about Pied RND - breeding project.

This mutation appears to allow selection and anchoring of a particular pattern. Similar to when hundreds of years ago different patterns gradually emerged in pigeons.

What an interesting read! Eventually we may have as many verities of ring neck doves as we do in pidgeons.

Yes, maybe this is the way. We're just a few hundred years behind pigeons But it can be seen that with controlled selection it is possible to achieve results relatively quickly.

I wonder how the combination of PIED (recessive) and GRIZZLE (dominant) fits. I really love Grizzle in the photo (source). This is a dominant mutation that ensures that even wildly colored birds look pleasantly exotic. If I ever manage to get a Grizzle individual, I will definitely focus on breeding Wild-Crested-Grizzle ringneck doves.
