Rash or pecking?

Hey guys,

I just noticed today that this sweet little girl, Mini, is either suffering bullying or has some sort of rash? I have just introduced her, another hen, and rooster to a flock of 5 pullets (~5 month olds). I’m not sure of Mini’s age but I do know that she is more mature, as she is laying, but she is slightly smaller in size. I have tried to ‘secretly’ observe them in the coup to look for pecking but have not seen any. Can anybody tell me what’s going on? TIA!!

How long have you owned her, and is the feather loss a new occurrence ? It almost looks like mating damage from a rooster.

That’s possible! I have only owned her for about 2 weeks now but she, the other hen and rooster have been together for a long while. He is always around her and is very protective. I hadnt thought of that!
