Raspy Chirping?

All my chicks sound fine except for one who's chirp sounds... Raspy? It's eating, drinking, jumping around and pooping. Everything seems normal except it's raspy chirp. Is raspy chirping normal? It's a day old chick. I've had a few day old chicks and none of them sounded like that.

I get one of those out of my BO's every now and then. They don't ever seem any different other than their voice. They keep a distinctly raspy sound to their voice for their whole lives. I think it's kind of like some humans who have a raspy voice. Just how they sound.

I've had one before, my neighbours have had many. When I'm down in the garden, I can hear a whole cacophony of raspy voices floating over the fence. It's normal, and your chick is most likely fine. (Although if you're worried, just keep an eye on it for the next few days, see if anything abnormal starts to happen.)
