Raspy hen???

So today I went to check on the chicks when I heard my 7 month old GLW make this raspy sounded cluck. It sounded like she was struggling to breath and was breathing out her mouth. She was fine yesterday, it also sounds like she is congested. I have a video but have no clue how to post it any ideas thanks.

She may have a respiratory infection or a fungal disease such as aspergillosis. I would watch for sneeze/cough, nasal secretions, watery eyes or eye bubbles, or any facial/eye swelling. Could she also possibly have a cold it got pretty cold last night maybe 30•

They get viruses and bacterial diseases, although molds can cause respiratory symptoms. She may or may not have more symptoms than the raspy voice, but just watch for any. Antibiotics can treat mycoplasmas and bacterial infections.

I agree with Eggcessive, its possible that she has a respiratory disease. Cold weather, especially damp weather, can make chickens more susceptible to getting respiratory diseases. I'd isolate her from the other birds and start giving some electrolytes. If she gets worse (or doesn't get better), get some antibiotics like Duramycin or Tylan50.

I wasn't able to seperate her because I have no place to put her. I did put some sugar In her water. She seems to be able to run nose isn't runny just that raspy cough.

UPDATE:she seems to be during a tad better. Not was raspy she's still opening her mouth. Still slow too but today I saw her sun bathing.
