She's back and now she's in the coop. Should I worry about the chickens too? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I know they're good for rodents etc but I'd like to be sure the girls are safe. :wee

Relocated up the road to otter cove/turtle creak. It seemed familiar with the area so I'm assuming we'll see herm again. In the meantime I'm going to be sure my chick's aren't in the coop until the 1/2" cloth is placed. That sneaky snake was able to shimmy through the cloth that's up there. The only part that wouldn't get through was where the egg was still being digested. 😳
 
Snakes can climb very well. I once seen a 6 foot black snake clear out a civil war reenactment by climbing a trunk of a large oak tree to escape all the activity created by the event. The massive fella wasn't doing anything but hanging out on a limb and waiting for the quiet to return.
