Rate the Orpington!

Hey! I moved this thread from "Chickens FAQ..." to this forum because I wasn't getting much response. I have a project involving chickens so if you would rate the Orpington chicken (1-10) by it's egg-laying, broodiness, hardiness, etc. and tell why you rated it, that would be great! I have to have AT LEAST ten rating before I average it out. Thanks!

I'll chime in here too. My ONE order of BOs, several years ago, from MMcM Hatchery, was not a success. Large, dumb, pretty birds, who lived for only one or two years. Never tried them again, so I've no idea how birds from other sources would work out. Mary
