Ratio of layer pellets to rolled oats.

I've been feeding my hens rolled oats and layer pellets, but I'm not sure what the ratio should be? They also have oyster shell in a separate bowl.

The oats.They will dilute protein content of the layer feed in too high of an amount.

I think rolled oats are about the same protein content as most layer feed(16%).
So you wouldn't be diluting protein, but might be diluting vitamins and minerals.
