We are having major troubles too with rats in our coop. It is an old coop so fixing up all the holes would be hard if not impossible. We tried traps and nothing yet. Next is the black boxes you see around industrial areas with poison inside. Has anyone tried that?

I'm scared they will take the poison elsewhere and the my chickens will get it. Hmmmm, what to do?
