raving roo

I lost my last hen last week to a racoon now my solo Roo has become increasingly aggressive..I don't dare turn my back on him..I plan on getting him a hen or two but what if anything can be done about his behavior?

The recommended ratio of hens to rooster is 8-10 hens per roo. He'll need more than 1 or 2 if you plan on keeping him.

I personally wouldn't want an aggressive rooster around...someone could get hurt and/or his aggressive traits could be passed down. There are a lot of roosters available, not all of them are hard to deal with.

Some say you can tame a rooster, you can try that if you aren't afraid of him.
