I believe my goats have lice (not 100% sure if it’s lice or fleas, but would like to get it taken care of asap as a precaution) first timer so not sure the best product to use or how to use them properly. Could i use a spray/liquid on them and the dust for there bedding/ bed area? I’ve added pictures of 5 products I’ve seen but unsure how to use any the correct way since some of my goats were born in May and being young. Also would deworming them and getting rid of the lice at the same time be bad or to much for/on them? Should i wait to treat for lice until after about a week once they get there dewormer ? (I dewormed last week and the vet said to do another round of dewormer this week just to make sure we get any remaining eggs) sorry for all the questions. I appreciate any help!

You can use any of the products pictured. We've used the powder. I wouldn't wait. Parasites will kill goats faster than any of the treatments will.

Ivovmec should take care of internal and external parasites. I use to give it orally, or you can inject it. 1ml per 50 pounds. We always use the one made for cows.

Otherwise you can use a dust, or spray made for horses. You should also clean out all the bedding, and I would treat weekly for 3-4 weeks to break the life cycle.

Is it safe to use while giving them a dewormer? my vet told me to deworm with panucur i think i spelled that right it’s the same dewormer we used almost 2 weeks ago he just wanted us to do a second dose to get any remaining eggs that might be there i just don’t want to hurt them with doing something for lice and deworming at the same time

They will be fine. Goats metabolize wormers pretty quickly, and often within 24 hours or less. It's why they often can be dosed at a higher rate without problems.

Both worms and lice will quickly cause anaemia, so it's important to check the eye rim color on goats on a regular basis, called the FAMACHA system, to see if they are becoming pale.
