Raw area on neck & head

I was wondering if anyone would have an idea what these raw spots are.

Three week old white layers. They show no sign of being sick. They are super active. It seems to be more apparent when they take a bath (obviously due to matting.)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Does she itch a lot?

If itch then she probably has mites but if not from breeding... I would just put some ointment on it

Thank you for the reply. It doesn't look like she itches it. She does her normal preening, but that seems about it.

It looks to me like another bird is doing some pulling feathers.
