raw bacon fat

can chickens eat this ? they must surely need fat in their diet aswell as proteins ?

Not sure. Seems too fatty. if scracth feet can fatten up chicken imagine what bacon fat can do. I think i would be better to give to wild birds. They need the fat Mix some bird seed in there .

we had a big breakfeast and we give the scraps to the cats not the eggs the our chick came up and decided it could take the cats bacon it then we gave the cat another piece and they enjoyed leftovers
