I wanted to start this thread to try and find out what raw food everyone is feeding their pets. I am always in search of better and easier ways to make myself and my pack healthier.

Please no arguing or judging of what others say. Statements made are only of what I do. It is not a suggestion that YOU do it. Just state what you have tried, like, dislike etc of feeding a raw meat and bones kind of diet. Also listing where you get your pet groceries will be a bonus too.

A typical days good for my dogs is Raw and fresh, never frozen Chicken Leg Bones, raw egg shell and all, a squirt of safflower or other oil such as cod liver or vegetable oil. Usually get some table scraps and veggie clippings I have laying around. I have a dog supplement that I buy by the 3 lbs container and it lasts a while. Has stuff like Diatamateous Earth, sea kelp, other omega fatty acids etc and a dash of ACV when it's not summer.

I've been a dog trainer since the age of 11 or so. Train dogs for various military and law enforcement agencies and private dogs. I am a blacksmith now and have 2 dogs. A Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Teddy and a Border Collie/Blackmouthed Curr/Australian Kelpie named Camo.

My chickens love helping them with their meals. You're welcome to include pics. Excited to hear what others are doing.

I do 10% roughly. I get fish heads a lot. Pork shoulders. I have some places that give me the stuff for free. They're gonna throw it away anyways, but some places still want to charge for it. I have a couple staples that I stick with. How bout you?

My two eat mostly chicken, beef, pork and turkey. I can a lot of times get whole ducks and venison scraps free from hunters. I also have a guy who lets me have all the innards from when he slaughters his goats as long as I come get them myself. :) Fish is pretty hard to get around here since we live in a desert.

I only asked about the organs since you didn't mention them in your first post and wanted to make sure your dogs were getting them. :)

Fish is easy to get. You just have to know where to go. I've been doing this for over 30 years. My family has done it for the training business for who knows how long. First thing I can remember is having 14 hunting dogs and feeding time was crazy. Table scraps and raw meat and bones. Healthiest dogs you've ever seen.
