Can you feed your chickens raw meat(i was thinking of beef)? Any reason not to?

I wouldn't, for the same reason I wouldn't eat it

. Personal preference really I have no clue if it would hurt them, but I would imagine any worms etc in the meat would transfer.

i let mine clean up the bones . never thought of raw guess I would not want the meat to go rancid.

Great source of protein & amino acids-just don't feed more than they'll clean up quickly.
BTW-raw beef with a little salt & pepper is delicious.

I'm just being over protective, sound like it cool to do.

I figure my green onions, spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, peanuts, and pistachios have already tried to kill me in the past 3 years it's one less thing I need. (Yes I'm being sarcastic, but unfortunately it's semi-true)

Raw meat will not hurt them. All birds will eat meat in the wild. Given the chance a chicken will kill and eat an injured chicken or any other animal. Actually the reason you don't see many mice in your runs is that the chickens will eat every one they can catch. Much better mouser than a cat.
