I went out to take care of my 4 week old chickens, and found this one. I am not sure whether or not to worry,
or quaranteen or if this is just normal. --I'm a new chickie mom
She is the only one with this spot on her neck...kind of under wing..too.

1) What type of bird , age and weight. Brahma..4 weeks old...
2) What is the behavior, exactly. Has a sore spot on her neck
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms? Noticed them at evening check
4) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma. Nope
5) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation. Don't have a clue
6) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all. yup...she was eating fine when i noticed her
7) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc. Not sure
8) What has been the treatment you have administered so far? Nothing
9 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet? Hoping to treat if possible
10) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
11) Describe the housing/bedding in use They are in a 8 x 8 coop using the dlm. No run done yet
