raw potatoes

my chickens live in my garden, they have been digging up the potatoes and eating them, they mostly clean out the insides and leave most of the skin. I have read different things about potatoe skin being bad for chickens, has anyone fed with no problems or with bad problems, i dont really want to dig potatoes up yet, thanks for any help advice

Try a search... there has been many thoughts on this. I personally only feed mine cooked and very seldom.
