RCOM King Suro 20.

I actually set Dutch eggs both times, as well. I would run it this time with a thermometer directly atop the eggs and adjust the temp accordingly. I'd adjust it to run slightly high like 100.3 to 100.8. I'd take the humidity to 38. Mine holds temp great, its just trying to figure out what exactly IS the temp.I'd let the bator run a few days to make sure your temp is holding steady before you set and I would monitor it closely throughout incubation. That's what worked for me, anyway. Hope this helps.

I have a king suro and also have issues. I got mine from Kemp Incubators. I have had it since april and have 2 hatches that were on the poor side. I wondered about the temperature as the hatches were very late and poor. But I did get about 60% hatch. I was trusting the readout of 99.9 and 45%.

Last Sunday I drove to Washigton I live in coos Bay, Oregon)and picked up some lavender orphington eggs and some silkie eggs. I set the hatch Monday but put a digital incubator inside where I could read it on top of the eggs. I watched it closely for 2 days and on tuesday evening it still read 89 degrees. I called Kemp and he had me reset it and put in another therometer. One read 89 and the other 88. I bumped up the reading and it still said 89 and 88. Even when I bumped up the digial
reading to 105 it still said 89 and 88. So I called kemp and they are having me send the incubator back. They said out of the hundreds they have sold only a few need repairs.

I had invested over $60.00 in those eggs plus drove up to get them so that they did not ship. I als got some chicks and some silkies at the same time.

I did have a broody hen that I could put some of the eggs under. She had been setting for 2 weeks so I hope she stays on the eggs. As they were in the incubator at 89 degrees for 2 days I hope they hatch.

I was thinking about the r com 50 but if the incubators are failing I don't want to buy another one.
