Today I figured out something great. When you have to open your bator to add water, candle eggs, etc. I took a desk light I had with a 40 watt bulb in it and placed it at the side of the incubator and left it on for about 15 minutes so the light would warm up before I opened the bator. Then with the light I opened the bator to add water, put the "ready to start hatching eggs" into their carton, etc., When I closed the bator, I turned off the light and the bator held went right back up to temp within about 10 minutes. Thought I would share that, at least they would have some warmth if you had to candle some eggs for a few minutes.
