DOCILE ROOSTER NEEDS A GOOD HOME. It’s with a heavy heart that I write. This is the most wonderful rooster. He’s gorgeous, healthy & friendly. No Aggression. He is a Splashed Lace Red Wyndham about 7 months old. He is careful and cooperative. He understands NO! and IN. Ferdinand the Protector has been free-ranging for 1 month with 7 hens in hawk infested territory. He has not lost a single hen!! He is a GOOD BOY. And he’s horny. He has sex before eating in the morning. I have no problem with his behaviors. He’s a talkie bird. Pretty cool!
Sadly he is too big for my hens. They are getting injured & he has to go for their safety & long happy life. He is too big for Orpingtons. I read he would do very well with other Wyndhams & tolerates confinement OK. I would not allow him around little kids, but he’s great with 7+ (taller). I like Ferdinand a lot. He’s friendly. He listens to me. Hand raised from the start.
Still he’s too big for my Orpingtons & my Isa Browns are smaller. So text me if you’re interested in adopting a truly wonderful & GREAT ROOSTER. He is a big boy. Smart too.
