Someone posted an ad and was looking for a home for this baby gosling and I couldn't resist, so I responded to the ad. I thought about him going to a home that would not care for him and him being all alone, so I drove an hour (from work) to get him and drove (1 1/2 hr back home). I also had a baby gosling that my muscovy duck hatched about a week ago and the gosling has been living inside in a brooder all alone, so my baby needed a buddy as well.

I know it was a long trip but it was worth it. He has a good home now.

This is the Brown Chinese Gosling that I picked up yesterday.

This is a pic of both of them last night after they settled down.

Amazing how well that worked out! Don't worry, your not alone.. I have driven quite a bit to rescue some birds too, in my day.

Thanks everyone. He is sooo cute. Such a tiny little fellow. I can't wait to get home to play with both of them and have them walk around the house.

Hey Julie! I hope you enjoy the little guy! I know he will be just fine with you! I don't think he would have enjoyed living with my silkies lol
