Good evening,
We re-homed 2 quails on Sunday. Monday and Tuesday we had eggs and then all of a sudden they stopped.
They are in a coop with the other 3 we already had who aren't laying either.
We are in the UK and feed Heygates layer pellets.
Is it normal for them to lay for a few days then stop because they're somewhere new?
They have calcium and mealworms a few times a week.
My other 3 were laying a few weeks back but stopped about 1/2 weeks ago for some unknown reason.
Not sure where I'm going wrong really?
Any advice or knowledge on this would be really appreciated.
Thank you

The new birds laid eggs that were already 'in process'. All fowl generally take a break in their laying cycle after being moved to a new environment. Birds hate change.
