Re-homing concerns

I recently re-homed my backyard flock (6) and am concerned how they will know where their new coop is. Will they wonder off? Has anyone ever heard of chickens trying to find their way back to an original home? My husband laughed his head off when I asked that question. Thoughts?

I don't think you have to worry. Hopefully they can't take off, cuz hopefully they are kept in a predator-proof run so they are also safe..

The new owner should lock them in the coop for a few days, possibly a few weeks (depending) and that should home the birds to the new location.
