Re introducing a chickens back in to her flock

Hello so I have a chicken who got her head stuck the fence not for long we brought her nursed her back to health and now ready to bring her out we try one night to the other hens out of the coops and see her my one chicken kept jumping on her back and pulling her head so I nrought her back in that night now I put her out today in a dog crate with the other chickens how long should I keep her there and when should I try aging and has anyone ever had a chicken not excepted back to the flock.

Your flock sees this new bird as a stranger and a danger. Adding a single bird back is the hardest intergation. Your best bet would be to pick a buddy and put her with the one you are trying to add. Keep them together for a couple of days till they get along. Then pull the bully, add the pair, then the next day add the bully back in the dark at night.

Have plenty of hideouts, and get away spots.
