Re-NEW to chickens

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes and No... When I was a kid we had chickens. About all I can remember is gathering eggs, chasing off snakes and
eating chickens (or eggs) three times a day.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Just bought 6 chicks thinking some will expire. Guess I'm doing something right because they are all healthy and
getting big.

(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island Reds

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Internet has everything.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Fishing, hunting, boating, motorcycle riding, gardening, cookouts... You know! Everything and anything that is all
American.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Divorced (2x), 3 children, 11 grand children, 2 great grand children, young girlfriend with 2 kids, retired but still
working full time, living the American Dream...

Good to have you! Chickens are great entertainment, and also pretty hardy in my experiance. are your birds production or heritage RIRs? my kids have great fun chasing our little chicken around and feeding them worms and the occasional feeder mouse to lol. there is so much knowlage here dont be afraid to ask if you have a question
