Read this! You kids will not be able to work on your farm anymore!!

says the lumberjack

Entry level wage for logging is over 15.00 hr, equipment operators make about 25.00 average, timber fallers make about 60.00

the work is a little more complex than pumping gas.

The average logging company has over a million dollars invested in equipment... self included.

The way they will enforce this, AND all the other 20,000 + regulations that Cass Sunstien thought up for the Communists that are now in charge, is that when you do something else wrong, or the country goes down and they want everyone to 'get on the train' and you don't because you are self-sufficient - they will just come and take what you have. They will find a reason to put everyone in a position of slavery.

The only problem which they have overlooked, and always do, is that government stooges are where they are at, because they cannot sustain themselves.

I get to go talk to the high school principle tomorrow... yah... seems my 15 year old is having to pay for a couple books. His good freind left his backpack outside, my son set it by the door to his next class, someone took it put it in the toilet and crapped on it. Now the school wants my son to fork over 80.00 because as they said" he was the last one to touch it" which must mean he did it I guess. Anyways I will have to remind them that his rights still apply of the accused even in school.

I use the cardlock system for fuel. And there are very few kids pumping gas most are adults in thier 20's and older.

Be careful Royd you are putting down the occupation that Cupman spent time in college for.

He has to pay for books that his friend left behind? Are they out of their minds? I would be giving them $80 that looked worse than the books thats for sure.

I was 17 and worked pumping gas before the digital readers and after the glass site version of pump. It was leaded, unleaded or super unleaded and no ethyl.

I'd go to the school and have a meeting with the other kids parents. Personally, I'd hold the kids 50/50 responsible. The owner for leaving his books, of course. But when the son picked up his friends forgotten backpack, he took responsibility for it. He then left it somewhere that it was taken and the contents destroyed. That is how I would view it if my children were involved.

ETA: if the other parents couldn't work it out, I WOULD pay for it. Again, because when my child took the backpack, they assumed responsibility, the same if they had borrowed an item and it was stolen. The backpack should have been turned in to a teacher or given back to the friend who forgot it. Instead, it was left outside where it was stolen.

to be fair, duckinnut, his son did touch it last.

Just don't see giving punishment to somebody who tried to do the right thing. I think I am reading the story correctly.

So giving that thinking the car I rented got stolen and subsequently used in a bank robbery, I must have been me that did it. I don't buy that train of thought.
