Ready for chickens in Sin City

Hello everyone, I've been doing lots of lurking and chicken research and feel its time to join up and get things started. I've already got my coop! I live in southeast las vegas and have been trying to learn more about raising chickens in my climate.

go to "where am I, where are you', to find your state thread. People in your area can tell you best how to coop chickens in your climate, etc.

! Great to have you aboard! I agree with drumstick about connecting with locals. Also, try and get the more heat tolerant breeds - provide them with plenty of shade and ventilation. Good luck to you!
