I have always loved geese. Then about a month ago they had some at the feed store. I picked one up and cuddled and oh my goodness my heart just completely melted. They were African Grays and honestly, at the time I didn't know very much about the different breeds. So on my husband's advice I didn't get any then. Instead I came home and started learning. I'm glad I didn't get any then because based on everything I've read (granted, geese are individuals and some will differ from what it says about their breed) they wouldn't have been the right breed for me. After much reading and deliberation, I finally settled on American Buffs. And, then everywhere I looked was sold out. I resigned myself to next year.
Then on a whim, I went to McMurray's website about a week and half ago just to look at them again and lo and behold, they had a hatching coming up. I was so excited and I ordered them right then. And this past past week and half has been torture waiting for them. You will probably end up seeing so many pictures you will wish I had never found this forum, lol
